On May 27, 2024, as part of the "Ukraine Is Ukraine" festival, the Boristene association organized a lecture by the renowned Ukrainian historian, Professor Yaroslav Hrytsak. The event became an important part of the festival program, aimed at deepening the understanding of Ukraine’s history and its place in the global cultural and historical heritage.
About the LectureYaroslav Hrytsak,
Director of the Institute of History at Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko and a member of the supervisory board of the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute, shared his unique perspective on the history of Ukraine, from the Middle Ages to the present day. The lecture covered key moments in Ukraine's history, from significant political events to cultural shifts that shaped the nation’s identity.
